"I am so thankful my mom encouraged me to take BUF dual credit courses while I was in high school. Dual-Credit introduced me to the responsibilities of college course work and helped me come to a decision to attend BUF after high school. My online professors were available through email if I had any questions about the class, and I was able to grasp what class work at BUF would be like. Dual-Credit prepared me to be responsible, organized, and confident in my classes."

Why Dual Credit?

Through the Dual-Credit program at BUF, high school students can sample the rigorous expectations of college in a Christian environment, as they interact with peers and professors who point them to Jesus every step of the way. They will be taught from a biblical worldview while practicing independence and preparing for life after high school. This is their first step to becoming Kingdom minded leaders and professionals.

Affordable:

  • Courses cost $100 per credit hour*
  • BUF Guarantee: The price per credit hour at the time of a student’s entry into the Dual-Credit program will remain the same each year until the student graduates from high school.
  • BUF tuition rates provide tremendous savings over the cost of regular college or university courses and the cost of equivalent Dual-Credit programs.
  • *Cost is negotiable.

Biblical

  • Adjunct professors must subscribe to the university’s doctrinal statement and agree to teach from a biblical/Christian worldview. There is no such promise if you partner with a public college or university.

Comparable

  • BUF is accredited with The Southern Association of Colleges and Schools Commission on Colleges (SACSCOC).
  • The role of this organization is to assure educational quality and integrity, foster continuous self-improvement, and promote student success.
  • Coursework expected to transfer to any other accredited institution of higher learning**
  • **Students and parents should understand that transfer credit is always at the discretion of the receiving institution.
